Triangulating styles, New Balance Numeric team up with Coloradan skate shop 303 Boards and San Francisco-based artist Jeremy Fish for a fresh take on their latest cupsole mainstay, the 480.
Offering an upper composed of tough leather, rough canvas, and fluffed suede, this iteration of the classic NB framework is prepped with luxe fabrics for functionality as both a premium skate shoe and an aesthetically aspirational streetwear option.
Subtle, tonal embellishments across the silhouette emphasise the care taken with this colourway, as debossed details hide amongst the glossy leather and embroidered accents reside around the collar. The shoe also features a pair of detachable adornments; the laces sport a metallic 303 Boards deubré, whilst a rubberised keychain tag clasps the topmost eyelet.
One of the main draws with any New Balance shoe is the unwavering focus on comfort, and the 480 provides the utmost underfoot with their famous pairing of FUELCELL foam midsole and ABZORB insole. Further cushioning at the heel panel keeps the shoe comfortably secure and responsive.
